A downloadable game for Windows and Android
This is the first game in Dream City Construct game series. You arrived at Dream City to receive a special job from Madam J - to revive the struggling Profitist Enterprise. With $20,000 seed money from her, work your way to earn $100,000 as your first objective. Build a career, get to know people and find opportunities to invest.
As you've been completing more objectives, you'll discover that the world is on the brink of an apocalypse. Madam J has a plan for it but it's not going to be easy. Time is of the essence. If you didn't manage to earn $10,000,000 within 4 years, it's going to much harder to be prepared for the upcoming apocalypse.
As an early access game, more features and contents will be added from time to time over the course of several years. Some part of the game still use placeholder arts. This will be replaced with proper arts over time. As this is the sole casual game in Dream City Construct game series, combat and bizarre paranatural events are excluded from the game.

- explore a small island comprises of 9 distinct districts with 49 enterable buildings
- get hired and grow career in ad agency, law firm, modelling agency or fashion firm
- build relationship with 23 characters to unlock opportunity events
- opportunity events are available for Sarah, Mark, Britney, Alli, Damien and Asha
- take 20+ random request for help from many characters through notice board. This optional opportunity disappears at midnight
- take part-time jobs at the restaurants to earn side income and the chance to unlock recipes
- go fishing at 9 different fishing spots throughout the island and sell the catch to the chef at the sushi restaurant for some money
- scavenge trash cans all over the island to recycle scraps. Scraps can be exchanged for money at the back of the pawn shop
- forage tree stumps for mushrooms
- attend 20 different classes offered by 4 schools to gain skill experience points
- rent flat, apartment or condominium unit as home. Then, upgrade home with up to 20 furniture option
- cook food with 59 recipes. Food ingredients can be bought from hypermarket, 24 hours shop, cake & pastry shop or night market stalls
- use taxi at bus stops to move between buildings
- buy scooter and cars as vehicle
- invest in jewellery, property and company stocks
- completing objectives for Madam J unlocks rewards, clothes and reveal her plan for the upcoming apocalypse
- free random or special event vouchers updated daily from newspaper can be collected at counters

Android Version Warning
The latest APK (version 1.67/1.66/1.65) is packaged with new signing certificate which means the APK is not compatible with older APK versions (version 1.64 or below). If you have older version installed on your phone/tablet, please uninstall it first before you can install the latest APK.
If you're updating from version 1.65/1.66, there's no need to uninstall the game.

What happens if you don’t earn 10 million before 2008?
For current version, nothing happens since we haven't implemented apocalyptic events. So, technically you can play as long as you want.

Applez stock because it has highest return as long as you remember to sell it on March.

The next update will be some time this year after we made some progress with Dream City Fugitive game.

We prefer not to reveal schedule because it will stress out development. It's ready when it's ready. You just have to wait patiently.

Where I can get Metal craps? Isn't Aluminum and Metal the same thing? Mark was always saying I don't have enough metal craps although I have already 4600 Aluminum craps. PLEASE RESPOND. :((
So you said that in game the world is at a brink of a apocalypse. What is apocalypse about exactly? Is it zombie apocalypse Or something else?
The term is dark apocalypse where people mutates into vampire-like creatures with hive mind control due to spread of special virus. If you play DC Anthology Apocalypse, you'll better understand dark apocalypse. Future updates will add lots of story events related to this apocalypse.
If the romance update is unlocked does it mean we can date the 23 characters or it will be Patrick and Cecilia again?
If you talk to all 23 characters in the game, you know that some of them are already married (such as Madam Luz & Katherine), some of them are simply weird (such as Mark), some of them are not interested to pursue romance (such as Madam Zue) & some of them are infatuated with other character (such as Ned). That leaves a few available romanceable characters. To implement proper romance for these characters, we have to come out with a set of events that will lead to romance. This is quite challenging process.
How do I make 100,000 dollars for the quest?
Just follow what's being written on trend report. Buy stock when the stock price is expected higher & sell any available jewellery. Buy jewellery when the jewellery price is expected higher & sell any available stock. In the meantime, complete notice board every day if it's possible. You should get $100,000 after 1 year.
How do I increase refrigerator space? I have the modern refrigerator.
You can't
Fridge is now limited to 10 slots. However you can store food at fridge at Profitist Enterprise office, ad agency, law firm, fashion firm & model agency.
Hello pls, when i updated it to the lastest version I lost all my progress. Is there a way to prevent this from happening with future updates?
If you're updating to version 1.660, all your save game progress are lost because we're adding lots of new data structure. Now that version 1.660 has stable data structure, updating to new version will not overwrite your save game progress.
As a matter of fact, we will push update version 1.670 soon as we found nasty game breaking bugs. If you have version 1.660, updating to version 1.670 will not overwrite your save game progress.
I downloaded the new update from play store and started playing the game until I figured out that the furniture customization button has disappeared
There's blank board next to shelves inside your home. Interact with it to bring Customize Home screen.

Current version (1.660) has lots of content. Don't know what you mean by full version. It's going to take at least a year before the next update takes place.
Why can't I access clinic tho

Will the update be coming to playstore/Appstore
Version 1.660 should be available on Play Store (Android) and itch.io website at the end of December 2023. We have no plan for App Store (iOS) because we don't have money for that.

I really love this game already and want to play the full 4 years.
I'm just having an issue - I just got a promotion at Big Tree and am now an account executive. However, I can't find the desk I'm supposed to work at in the Executive Department, like it says on the game map for the office.
Is this a bug or is there a specific desk I have to try to trigger the work option?

Yeah, we are aware of the bug when doing the testing. The cubicle desk is on the leftest part of office but the game doesn't allow you to interact with it. We already fixed the bug but the next update will only come in late December. For now, you can't interact with the desk so you will lose 2 days of work (Monday & Tuesday).
Take note the next update will wipe your saved game progress so you shouldn't play thoroughly. Play casually like playing several main characters & save to multiple save slots. The next update is when you can play thoroughly since storyline & lots of stuff to do will be added to the next update.

How much will the new games cost?
Dream City Profitist will always be free. If you have DC Anthology Underworld on Play Store or itch.io website, it will be replaced with Dream City Fugitive for free next year. If you have DC Anthology Paranormal on Play Store or itch.io website, it will be replaced with Dream City Psyche in the future. Right now DC Anthology Underworld and DC Anthology Paranormal is $4 on itch.io website or $2 on Play Store. We will raise the price on Play Store to match the price on itch.io website in the future.
Will you put football field in the game again?
No football field. People on the island are not interested in football. They are more interested in martial art. There's annual martial art tournament organized on August which you can sponsor on next update of Dream City Profitist.

Please could you add, Medical, Mechanical, Investigation, computer? Please would it be good if we could work in these areas?
For next update, we probably don't have time to implement those skills since we also need to create buildings to apply the skills. Our focus is to add as many storyline aka stuff to do in the game. Right now we already achieved 50% storyline (100K characters). We want to reach 100% storyline by the end of December so can't let any distraction.
I tried making coconut milk by getting coconut and machete but it doesn't seem to work even using an industrial stove
Probably a bug related to machete. For now you can't prepare coconut milk. This will get fixed on next update.
the 2nd fridge has 8 slot like the first one. Why doesn't it has 16 slot like DC apocalypse
Fridge has been standardized to have max 10 slots. We have plan to add more container to store food like you can use fridge at office. That feature might be available on next update.
Also I found out that I can go to school without paying titution
Yes, you can attend class without paying any tuition fee first. You can check how much tuition fee you owed through map screen. You can pay tuition fee at the office or not. There's no penalty if you don't want to pay tuition fee.
And also has flu been implemented into the game because I all ways walk under the rain to work before I found an umbrella in the boutique
You can get flu if your hygiene is 0 walking outside while it's raining if you don't have umbrella. If you have umbrella, you will never get a flu since you automatically use umbrella while walking outside while it's raining.
What of Android
If you have Android version, it's very hard to modify any files since you need to root your phone to be able to access file inside game folder.
But the png will be completed, maybe not this update but other update, right?
Yes, eventually it will be completed. It's a matter of when it will be completed. If you have desktop/laptop PC, you can download Windows version. Inside game folder, there's png folder. All food/item art is stored inside Item.png. You can modify it with Photoshop or other graphic editor if you want.
Some food png are missing, are they going completed in the next update.
Maybe or maybe not. Right now we put priority on adding as much storyline as possible so you can do lots of stuff when the game receive next update on December.
I can't seem to find baking supply shop. Where is it? Same with night Market.
Baking supply shop is cake & pastry shop at Old District. Night market is 6 food stalls you can find at city park.
When will the next game update come out?
It's been delayed to Christmas (December). We want to add more storyline.
I thought this game firstly is set in the 70s and is text based
Nope, the game timeline is from 2004 & beyond. Maybe you're thinking about Project DC Journal? We have to abandon that project because we couldn't make it as fun as we hope for. There's also lot of number crunching formula that we couldn't figure out.
This bug is really disturbing my work routine, I just can't work on the CEO's part, if you have a way to remove the bug, I would appreciate it?
We have fixed the bug on our latest build but we're not going to push the update until we have reached important milestone which is successful implementation of storyline. You can still force your way working on the CEO desk. Make sure ! icon points to desk not to the CEO. Then, you can interact with desk to start working.
Even so, I can't play, I already did what you said and it didn't work, what can I do now?
Do other things. Quit the job & work on another company. There are 4 careers (ad agency, law, modelling & fashion) so there are plenty of stuff to do. Take note your save progress will be wiped clean when the next update comes out so don't get attached to your playthrough.

There are places that you don’t have access to yet, right?
For this version, player can't enter many new buildings (clinic, pharmacy, beach resort, furniture shop, electrical shop, beach resort, hotel, police station & hospital) as we're not creating those buildings yet on Tiled map. Those buildings will be added gradually over several years when we have the time.

Not yet implemented. We have to implement intoxication effect from drinking alcohol first before alcohol can be bought from bar. This might be implemented next year or later. Not that important.

DC Profitist doesn't have combat so you can't do combat sparring etc. If you want combat, wait for upcoming DC Fugitive.

We don't actually test the game until the part player becomes CEO. Does CEO still work on his desk? He was supposed to disappear. We'll take note of this bug.

For e-mail, make sure you include title of the game. That should prevent the e-mail from getting to spam folder.
Will we be able to work in the police and hospital?
why can't we work in dc observer office?
Our priority right now is to develop Profitist storyline + interaction with NPC (non-player characters) for the upcoming update. Anything else can wait in the future.

The DC Underworld and DC Paranormal games continued with the 4 stories, Profitist, Apocalypse, Underworld and Paranormal, in the paid version?
Yes. In the future, we plan to replace DC Underworld with DC Fugitive & DC Paranormal with DC Psyche so buy both games (DC Underworld + DC Paranormal) if you have the money.
i already have the two paid games, dc fugitive and dc psyche will it be released in october 2023 too?
We will replace both DC Underworld and DC Paranormal next year (2024). There are tons of work still need to be done before both games are ready for early access. Take note we are doing this part-time so things are slow. You're better off play other games while waiting for both games.
